Funeral services for Emmett Gene Posey, Jr. will be on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in the Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Davis will be officiating the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 21, from 11:00 until the time of the service.

Mr. Posey, 50, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed from this life on Sunday, July 19, 2020.  He was born on February 23, 1970, in Natchez, MS, to Gene Posey, Sr. and Erma Jean Posey. He worked for many years as a Hairdresser; he enjoyed fishing and loved animals, especially dogs.  He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his brother, Bryan Keith Posey; his mawmaw and pawpaw, Nettie Grace and Emmett L. Posey.

Survivors are his parents; his brother, Allen Posey and wife Kristi; his nieces, Sierrah, Jayden, and Kayliegh Stabler; and a host of family and friends.
