Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Mae Roberts will be on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in (894 Natchez Drive) Brookhaven, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. Randy Coker will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, December 29, 2018, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Mrs. Roberts, 84, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Friday, December 28, 2018, at Edgewood Nursing Home in Bryam, MS. She was born on October 12, 1934 in Brookhaven, MS, to Roy Pennington and Jessie Maude James Pennington. She was a member of Southway Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS. She enjoyed life to the fullest, going out to eat and selling Avon products, where she worked for over 48 years. Mrs. Roberts was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands Hollis Tillman and Murphy Roberts; and sister, Vera Maude Lambert.

Survivors are son, Kenneth Lee Tillman and wife Ann, of Monticello, MS; 2 grandchildren, Leann Clark and Lisa Smith; 6 great grandchildren; brothers Johnny Pennington and James Saulters, both of Texas; and a host of family and friends.
