Edna Ruth Orcutt, born April 13, 1941, left this world behind on March 8, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Wallace and Frances Williamson; one brother, JP Wallace and wife Jeannette Wallace; ex-husband, William Aivin "Billy" Orcutt, Sr.; and one grandson, Sgt. Seth R.T. Orcutt; and a sister-in-law Mary Logan and husband, George.

She is survived by her two sons, William Alvin "Bill" Orcutt and Robert James Orcutt; four grandchildren, Angela Orcutt, Mike Orcutt and wife, Jana, Brooke Orcutt, and Charlie Orcutt; five great-grandchildren, Trey Couch, Kiyah Orcutt, Paityn Crouch, Sophie Orcutt, Bryson Orcutt and Seth Orcutt. She also leaves behind two brothers-in-laws, Eddie Orcutt and wife Stella, and Arthur Orcutt and wife, Nola Mae; along with bunches of nephews and nieces, family by heart, and friends.

Edna was a mother and grandmother who will be remembered for being a young country girl to the lady that danced to her own beat of music. The thing about Edna was she wanted everyone to join in on the fun of dancing with her. She had a good heart and a way about her that will always be remembered by her sons, her grandchildren, and those that knew her and loved her.

An hour of visitation will be held at Faith Church (13740 Hwy 61 N, Fayette, MS) on March 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM until Memorial Services at 2:00 PM. Rev. Mark Henderson and Rev. Bolly Davis will officiate, with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
