Graveside services for Doris Lynn Cooper will be on Thursday, September15, 2022, at Mission Hills Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson, MS, at 4:30 PM. James Ezell will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cooper, 78, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on September 4, 2022, in Milton, FL.  She was born on February 1, 1944, in Brookhaven, MS, to James Walter Greenlee and Ernestine Foster Turman. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sons Little John, Billy Evans and Thomas Emfinger; sisters Wanda Ezell, Rita Cooper, Diane Hodges; brother Bimbo Turman; daughter-in-law Jane Evans.

Survivors are her children, Tammy Andrade (Ricardo), Cheryl Evans, Hank Evans, Jay Evans (Brenda), Scott Evans, Randy Evans (Deena), Matthew Emfinger, Fred Emfinger; sister Charlene Douglas (Connie Mack); 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all those who helped Mrs. Cooper in her time of need.
