Graveside services for Mrs. Doris Hilton Arnold will be on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Wilder Cemetery in Ruston, LA at 1:00 PM. Bro. Jerry Whitman will be officiating the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Monday, January 29, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Arnold, 104, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Friday, January 26, 2018, at home. She was born on October 25, 1913 in LA, to Thomas Augustus Hilton and Allie Garr Hilton.

Mrs. Doris enjoyed reading her Bible, crossword puzzles, crocheting, and sitting and talking with friends. She loved to write about her life events and had a large collection of those stories.

Preceding her in death were her husband, William Norman Arnold; her daughter, Mary Helen Arnold; her parents, Thomas Augustus Hilton and Allie Garr Hilton; her brothers, J.C. Hilton and Arnold A. Hilton; and her sister, Helen Hilton Patterson.

She is survived by her nephew, Jim Hilton and wife Deb; Jim's sons, Jay and Brian Hilton; her great-niece, Lisa Kincaid; and her great-nephew, Tom Patterson.
