Funeral services for Mrs. Donna Marie Wright, 76, of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi will be held at Calvary Baptist Church (Bogue Chitto) on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 2:00 in the afternoon; graveside services will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Jacob Glasz will be officiating with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive visitors at the church preceding the funeral from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00.

Mrs. Wright, 76, of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi passed away at her home on April 10, 2025. She was born in Natchez, Mississippi on November 17, 1948 to Kirby Edward Williams and Catherine Shack Williams.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto. She retired from a long and successful career as a Registered Nurse. She also enjoyed reading, baking, and cooking but above all else she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirby E. Williams and Catherine S. Williams, and brothers, John Williams, Perry Williams, and Jerry Williams.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Shelton T. Wright; daughter, Brandy Reid (Stephen); sons, Christopher M. Wright (Mandy); and Roy J. McGovern (Monica); granddaughter Rebekah Lynn Carr; grandsons William Tanner Wright (Tessa), Kirby S. Reid (Elisabeth), Brandon K. Reid, Kolby Joe Hart, Brady S. Hart, Roy Joseph Clark (Ashley), and Colton McGovern; and 7 great-grandchildren; brother, James Williams (Elaine) of Bayou Vista, LA; sisters, Linda Williams of Bayou Black, LA, and Diane Hanks of Wasilla, Alaska; plus a large host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Wright, Roy McGovern, Tanner Wright, Kirby Reid, Keith Aucoin, and Edwin Cooper. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Reid, Kolby Hart, Brady Hart, and Greg Allen.
