Dreaming of heaven, Spiderman, Hwy 84 or interstates? We will never know. Donald left us in a dream that night. Donald Lee Freeman, Sr. passed away on August 12, 2023 at the early age of 64. Donald was born to Donald and Mary Freeman on August 4, 1959 in Illinois.

Donald is preceded in death by his loving parents and his only daughter, Courtney Michelle Freeman; and his brothers-in-law, Phillip L. Wallace and Robert Whittington.

If Donald could have things his way, he would be out driving the open road in his 18 wheeler. He had the time of his life traveling all over America for his work. He loved to share stories of these times with his family. They say "Life is a Highway;" Donald made this his heart and soul.

Donald was saved and welcomed into heaven with open arms. Donald had many talks with his sister, Pamela, about our Lord. He knew he was ready to meet Jesus face to face one day.

Donald loved all things Spiderman and New Orleans Saints. He was their #1 fan. He was the "crazy uncle" to all of his nieces and nephews and an amazing big brother to all of his sisters. He leaves behind: Jennie Wallace (Chris and Sheree), Pamela Wallace (April), Peggy Stell (Dal. Dennis, Alesha, Josh), Maryann Fauver (Chaz, Carly, Marly), Wanda Costilon (Randy). He also leaves behind 2 ex wives; Kathy Badeaux and Kathy O'Brien, along with a huge number of great nieces and nephews.

Donald was so proud of his two sons, Donald Lee Freeman, Jr. (Jaclyn) and Dewey Thomas Freeman (Summer). Above all things, Donald was most proud of his grandchildren. He leaves only memories to them: Aaliyah Badeaux, Kayleigh Freeman, Brooklynn and Thomas Wood; and one great granddaughter on the way, Kaylanni Rose Freeman.

We are all so thankful for Donald and will always remember his roaring laugh, his crazy side, his Poppa's to-go plate, and his truck! His love for comic books, "Hayday," and Ozzy have affected us all.

Donald is now in heaven and he gained the greatest prize of all, eternal life.

We will always cherish every memory of Donald.
