Funeral services for Mr. Donald Baker, 68, of Bogue Chitto will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Brookhaven Funeral Home; visitation will take place from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home prior to services.

Mr. Baker was born on May 5, 1955, and passed away on January 18, 2024 at his home. He loved his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren; his family will treasure their memories of last Christmas, his first with a great-granddaughter. Donnie worked for over 20 years at Southern Electric, and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pharaoh and Eunice Baker and by a best friend, Willie McGee.

He is survived by his children; Donald Baker, Jr. (Rebecca Baker) of Loyd Star, Christy Baker of Bogue Chitto, and Lee Baker of Bogue Chitto; his grandchildren, Corey Baker, Zach Baker (Jana), Josh Baker, Brandon Baker, Jake Baker, Cody Baker (Marissa), John Andrews, and Katelyn Andrews; two great-grandchildren Saylor Andrews and Gracelyn Lacey. He also leaves behind his sisters; Linda Baker, Mandy Baker; and a brother, Ronald Baker.
