A Memorial Service for Don Pelas will be held on Saturday, February 27,2021, at Brookhaven Seventh Day Adventist Church (1681 US-51, Brookhaven, MS) at 2:00 PM.

Mr. Don A. Pelas, 76, passed away from this life on February 19, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born on April 21, 1944 in Port Sulphur, LA, to Ulice Pelas and Gloria Pelas. He was a member of the Summit Seventh Day Adventist Church; worked for Freeport Sulphur Company for 31 years; and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially at the beach. He was a loyal New Orleans Saints fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents Ulice and Gloria Pelas.

Survivors are his wife BB Blackmon Pelas; his daughter Jeannine Pelas Richardson and her husband Ronnie Richardson; his sister Charlene Pelas Armstrong; his grandson Buddy Richardson and wife Chassity Broughton Richardson; 2 great-granddaughters Alyssa Richardson and Mackenzie Richardson; 16 nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
