Graveside service for Don Y. Lee will be on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Dunn Family Cemetery in Bogue Chitto, MS, at 9:00 AM. Bro. Doug Kimble will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Monday, January 7, 2019, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Dr. Lee, 76, of Brookhaven, MS, (formerly of New Orleans, LA) passed from this life on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at his residence with his loving wife by his side. He was born on September 18, 1942, in Shanghai, China, to Lee Zhong Yian and Zhang Rui Hua. He graduated from Jiao Tung University in Shanghai, China, as an engineer and ship designer, and later earned his PH.D. from the University of Penn Wharton School of Business; worked for many years as a college professor; was a gifted scholar from China; and enjoyed traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife of 22 years, Cheryl Murray Lee; daughter, Lily Lee and husband Frank Benesch-Lee of Cambridge, MA; grandchild, Beatrix Benesch-Lee; sisters, Li Yong Chin, Li Yong Fong, Li Yong Pin, and Li Yong Hong; brother, Li Yao Shung; and a host of family and friends.
