Memorial services for Derald Kinchen will be on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM with burial to follow in the Red Star Cemetery.

Mr. Kinchen, 72, of Hazlehurst, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at home with his loving family by his side.  He was born on March 19, 1950, in Independence, LA, to Warren D. Kinchen and Doris Hoover.  He worked many years as a pipefitter; and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his daughter, Tara Francois; and brothers, Jerry Kinchen and Percy Vickmair.

Survivors are his daughter, Tammy McKinley (Charles); his son, Warren Kinchen; grandchildren, Amanda Lopez, Joshua Francois, Skylar Kinchen, Matthew Francois, and Warren Kinchen, Jr.; 8 great-grandchildren; and 11 brothers and sisters.
