Funeral services for Dennis Gene White will be on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Emory May will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.

Mr. White, 86, of McCall Creek, MS, passed from this life on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS.  He was born on March 10, 1935, in Lincoln County, MS, to Albert and Ophelia White. He was a member of McCall Creek Baptist Church; worked for many years in tractor parts sales and LP gas; and enjoyed working on old tractors. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Harold Ray White, William (Billy) White, Malcolm White, and Carey White; sister, Dena Ruth Thompson; and an infant sister.

Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Burris White; son, Albert Leon White (Charlie); daughter, Ophelia Marie Moore (Clarence); grandchildren, Neely Kate White, John Thomas White, Sarah Grace White, and Anna Beth White; and a host of family and friends.
