Mr. Danny V. Smith, age 79, of Bogue Chitto, passed away on December 2, 2024. He was born in Brookhaven, MS on June 2, 1945 to Vernon and Mildred Good Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pamela Emfinger.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Faye Smith; his daughter, Kessia Brown (Marty) of Iowa; and one granddaughter, Danni Brown. He also leaves behind three brothers Gregory Smith (Rita), Reggie Smith (Carol), David Smith (Sheri); and one sister, Gail Conger (Karl); along with a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto on Saturday, December 7, at 11:00 AM, with graveside services to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church beginning at 9:00 AM until time of services.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Southwest Health and Hospice Compassus.
