Funeral services for Mr. Danny Wallace Mullins, Sr. will be on Monday, May 15, 2017, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Rev. James Hunsucker and Rev. Frank Peters will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Sunday, May 14, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Mullins, 70, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at the University Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was born on November 24, 1946 in Brookhaven, MS, to Leroy and Willie Mae Mullins. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and serving on the mission trips to the Appalachians. His greatest joy was serving the Lord. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Danny Mullins, Jr.; his daughter, Michelle Mullins; and his great-granddaughter, Skyla Jordan.

Survivors are his wife of 13 years, Valerie Mullins; daughters, Deniese Channell, Bethany Bailey and husband Willie, Bessie Knight, and Kimberly Watson and husband Cody; son, Brent Beach; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; his brothers, Leroy Mullins, Jr. and wife Barbara, and Harry Mullins and wife Susan; and a host of family and friends.
