Funeral services for Daniel Jared Huckaby will be on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Red Star Ward) in Brookhaven, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Red Star Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bishop Bruce Britt and Bro. Jimmy Sones will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Mr. Huckaby, 24, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. He was born on August 15, 1993 in Brookhaven, MS, to Larry and Susan Bills Huckaby. He enjoyed riding and working on his truck as well as spending time with his family. He was a loving and dedicated father, son, brother, and uncle. He had a fun loving personality and a goofy smile that could be seen for miles.

Preceding him in death was his father, Larry Huckaby.

Survivors are his mother, Susan Bills Huckaby; brothers, Mitch Huckaby and wife Jen of Petal, MS and Brice Huckaby of Brookhaven, MS; sister, Miranda Boyte of Bossier City, LA; daughter, MaKynzie Brooke Huckaby of Brookhaven, MS; and one niece, as well as five nephews and many cousins.
