Funeral services for Mrs. Colleen Summers Callender will be on Monday, June 3, 2019, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in (894 Natchez Drive) Brookhaven, MS at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Ronny Burch will be officiating the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Monday, June 3, 2019, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Mrs. Callender, 92, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Camellia Estates in McComb, MS . She was born on June 9, 1926 in Lincoln County, MS to Willard E. Summers and Ruby Smith Summers. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing needle work. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Willard and Ruby Summers; her husband Leroy Callender; daughter Sandra Burch; her sister, Marjory Hodges.

Survivors are her sons, Ken Callender and wife Joyce of McComb, MS and Jeff Callender and wife Joni; grandchildren, Greg Callender, Brad Callender, Griffin Callender, Kimberly Jackson; great grandchildren, Olivia Taylor, Carlie Callender, Landry Callender, Cole Callender, Landon Jackson and Logan Jackson; and family and friends.
