Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Walker Smith will be on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Springhill Pentecostal Church in Wesson, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Springhill Cemetery. Rev. Joe Mark Dooley will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Springhill on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Mrs. Christine, 90, of Wesson, MS, passed from this life on Friday, June 1, 2018, at Magnolia Senior Care in Jackson, MS with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 30, 1927 in Prentiss, MS, to Charlie Walker and Gladys Hamilton Walker. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and crossword puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Carroll Smith, Sr.; her parents; sisters, Pauline Jackson and Virgie Wood; and her brother, Frances Walker.

Survivors are her daughter, Angela Huddleston and husband Kenneth; sons, Carroll Smith, Jr. and wife Mary Ann and Reggie Smith and wife Yvonne; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Lorae Rollins, Geneice Williams, Maxine Walker and Tressie Snow; brother Charles A. Walker; and a host of family and friends.
