Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Perry will be on Friday, November, 10, 2023, at Bethel Community Church in Brookhaven, MS, at 1 PM with burial to follow in the Bethel Community Church Cemetery. Bro. Alvin Lyons will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Bethel Community Church on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 11 until 1 PM.

Mrs. Christine Perry, 76, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, with her loving family by her side.  She was born on May 20, 1947, in Brookhaven, MS, to Clyde Jones Sr. and Mildred Freeman Jones. She worked for many years as a telephone operator for AT&T. She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.  Earlier in her life she was an avid bowler.  She was a loving wife, Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Lester Perry; brothers-in-law, Roy Smith and Dennis Calcote; nephew, Kenneth Calcote; great niece, Layla Grace Calcote.

Survivors are her children, Dale Perry (Rhonda) and Rhonda Perry Lynch (Lauren Self); siblings, Clyde Jones Jr. (Ann) of Brookhaven, Lucille Smith of Natchez, Brenda Calcote of Brookhaven and Shelvie McGuire of Natchez; grandchildren, Shane Lynch, Landon Lynch(Bailey Wilson), J.T. Lynch, Madison White (Donavin); 1 great-grandchild, and a host of family and friends.
