Mr. Charles "Monnie" M. Britt, Jr. of Ruth, MS, formerly of Wesson, MS, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. He was born on January 13, 1948, in Brookhaven, MS, to Charles "Monvil" M. Britt, Sr. and Mildred Williams Britt Bardwell. He attended school in Centreville and graduated from Wesson High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Preceding him in death were his parents Monvil and Mildred Britt; and brother, Bobby Britt.

Survivors are his 4 daughters, Jennifer Derryberry of Cave Springs, AR, Rachel Britt of Walls, MS, Laura Britt-Mills of Oxford, MS, and Jessica Jasper of Durango, CO; 2 grandchildren, Dylan Peacock and Ainsley Claire Mills; brother Kenny Britt of Wesson, MS; sisters Kathy Edwards and Marilyn Brown, both of Brookhaven, MS; a special friend, Bonnie Steen; and a host of family and friend.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
