Memorial services for Catherine Magee Smith will be on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at her residence (1546 Big Creek Drive) in Bogue Chitto, MS at 3:00 PM. Bro. William Davis will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, 72, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at home with her loving family by her side.  She was born on August 17, 1946, in Bogue Chitto, MS, to Jesse and Nellie Case Magee. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Rusty Pippins; granddaughter, Jene' Pippins; great-granddaughter, Railyn Brister; sisters, Edith Brown, Ethel Gardner, Geneva Coghlan, Nelda Faye Magee, and Janette Hughes; and brothers, Joe Magee, Jesse "Jr" Magee Jr, Cecil Magee, Virgil Magee.

Survivors are her sons, George Pippins and wife "Pudin" of Jayess, MS, Shane Case and wife Stephanie of Bogue Chitto, MS, and Dewayne Case and special friend April of Bogue Chitto, MS; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Mickel Magee of New York; a special niece, Evette Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
