Graveside services for Mrs. Carolyn Fay Smith will be on Monday, May 24, 2021, at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County, MS, at 3:00 PM.  Bro. Leland Smith will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, 85, of Shucktown, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at UMMC in Jackson, MS.  She was born on January 11, 1936, in Franklin County, MS, to Bilbo Smith and Bernice Smith Smith.  She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church where she was a long time Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Carolyn was a homemaker.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding her in death were her parents Bilbo and Bernice Smith and daughter-in-law Janet Smith.

Survivors are her loving husband of 67 years, James W. "Jimmy" Smith; children Faron Smith, Melba Barfoot and husband Dale, Mickey Smith and wife Dana; grandchildren, Warren, Tracy, Brittnee, Kacey and Garrett; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Caroline and Peighton.
