Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Ann White will be on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Fair River Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Owen King will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 PM.

Mrs. White, 79, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at home with her loving family by her side.  She was born on March 9, 1943, in Brookhaven, MS, to Bert Dickerson and Edith Franklin Dickerson. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Carolyn worked for many years at the Lawrence County Library. She was very witty and had a good sense of humor. She enjoyed traveling and making trips to town for vanilla ice cream. She enjoyed reading and studying the Bible every day. Mrs. Carolyn was an avid artist and painter. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents Bert and Edith Dickerson; husband of 60 years, James Wesley White; and sister, Helen "Boots" Owens.

Survivors are her children, Dustin White and Wendy Barksdale (Vance); grandchildren, Jeremy Beeson, Corey Beeson, Kristen Schroder, Laura Leigh White, Eli White and Noah Barksdale; great-grandchildren Bryan Edward, Siena, Pio, Roman, Isaac, Max, Bernadette, Marian and 1 baby girl Schroder on the way, Allie, Tucker and Shade; sister Diane Smith; and a host of family and friends.
