Mrs. Carol E. Althouse Ketteringham, 80, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Friday, February 25, 2022, at King Daughter's Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS.  She was born on May 15, 1941, in Abington, PA, to Edwin Althouse and Ethel Shull Althouse. She was a long-time member of the Luthern Church. She worked for many years as a school bus driver in the Bucks County School system in PA. Mrs. Carol loved working in her flower beds. She was a member of the VFW Post 2618 Auxiliary in Brookhaven, MS.

Preceding her in death were her parents Edwin and Ethel Althouse and her step-father Albert Vavrik.

Survivors are her husband of 34 years, Charles E. Ketteringham; children, Dean Pursell (Elizabeth), Desri Pursell (Mary) and Jeffrey Pursell (Patricia); 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister Joan Carr; brother John Vavrik and a host of family and friend.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to VFW Post 2618 Auxiliary P. O. Box 3215 Brookhaven, MS 39603.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
