Callie, 29, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed from this life on Friday, August 26, 2022, at home.  She was born on June 19, 1993, in Brookhaven, MS, to Thomas "Tom" Cole and Frances Moak Cole. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. From an early age, she knew the Lord would use her as a vessel to show His love to the world. She firmly believed she would ride her bicycle through the streets of China as she spread the Gospel. Callie may not have been physically present in another country, but she has been an active missionary through Callie's Mission for the last 12 years. Callie was given a Heavenly gift to illuminate light and joy to each and every one she encountered. Her sole desire during her time on earth was to bring hope to the hopeless, mend the broken, and love "recklessly". She was our sunshine.

Preceding her in death were her grandfathers, Harry L. Cole, Sr. and Dewey R. Ward, and cousins Gary F. Cole and Levi Johnson.

Survivors are: her parents, Thomas and Frances Cole; siblings, Ann Marie and Jackson Cole; grandparents Willie B. Cole, Landal and Brenda Moak, and Dotty Otte; nephew, Landon Cole; Aunts and Uncles: Harry L. Cole Jr., Marc and Rachel Gatlin, John and Jenny Cole, Danny and Cheri Altman, Steve and Marty Lewman, Randall Moak, Craig and Sharon Moak, Bill and Rebecca Moak, Coly and Patricia Smith, Julie Smith, Brenda Whittington, Terri Cole, Lydia and Alan Garner, Randy and Anne Ward; Cousins: Ellen Champagne, Julia Sheperd, Ende Woodward, Harrison and Franklin Champagne, Cole and Robert Gatlin, Anna Mooney, Harry L. Cole III, Tyler Cole, Rob Hataway, John R. Cole, Clay King, Lindsay Johnson, Jessie Medlin, Lou Ann Langston, Ross Gray Lewman, Justin Davis, MaKayla Hinton, Caleb Smith, Julia Moak, Seth Moak, Ben Moak, Marigold and Harper Moak, and Kathryn Otte - along with their spouses and children.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to: Laura Beth Wright, Leah Gill, Maggie Paulk, Zina Wilson, Christi Cox, Emily Blakeney, Kristin King, Melissa Bales, Melissa Lofton, Bonnie Steen, Kaitlyn Cliburn, Alex Williams, Summit Health and Rehab, Tritherapy of Brookhaven, and to all of those who have been Callie's "hands and feet".

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Callie's Mission Fund at the Mississippi Baptist Foundation, P.O. Box 530 Jackson, MS 39205 or Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, P.O. Box 170 Bogue Chitto, MS 39629. Please designate "Callie's Mission" in the memo line of the check.

Funds from Callie's Mission are used as scholarships for college students to spread the gospel internationally.
