Bro. Harry G. Kennedy's Obituary
Bro. Kennedy, 64, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Friday, February 24, 2017, at his residence in Brookhaven, MS. He was born on February 27, 1952, in Tylertown, MS, to Henry Shelton and Marguerite "Udene" Lawrence Kennedy. He was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church; pastored for 8 years; worked for many years as a truck driver; and enjoyed golf and spending time on the farm. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and friend.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Henry Shelton and Marguerite "Udene" Lawrence Kennedy; sister, Marilyn "Lynn" Kennedy Delong; and brother, Henry Shelton Kennedy, Jr.
Survivors are his wife of 43 years, Pam Roberts Kennedy; sons, Shalane Kennedy and wife Kim of Enon, MS, and Shane Kennedy and wife Jennifer of Brookhaven, MS; sister, Betty J. Kennedy Brown of Ocean Springs, MS; grandchildren, Taylor Shane Kennedy, Nelson Bishop Kennedy and Laney Grace Kennedy; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are Shalane Kennedy, Shane Kennedy, Matt Brown, Taylor Kennedy, Bishop Kennedy, and Donavon Drennan.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hospice Ministries and the church family of Easthaven Baptist Church.
