Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Leggett Case will be on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto, MS at 1 PM, with burial to follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, also in Bogue Chitto. Rev. Hal Hatten will be officiating the services, with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, July 2, 2016, from 11 AM until time of the service at 1 PM.

Mrs. Case, 65, passed from this life on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was born on November 9, 1950, in Brookhaven, MS, to Barney Franklin Leggett and Mildred Evon McCaffery Leggett. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.


Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, William "Bill" Carson Case; son, William Shane Case; and brother, Jimmy Leggett.

Survivors are her son, Dr. Ryan Case and wife Wendi of Brookhaven, MS; grandchildren, R. Corey Case and Olivia Case; brother, Johnny Leggett and wife Frankie of Bogue Chitto, MS; longtime friend of the family, Denis Dergelev of Long Beach, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
