NATCHEZ-Services for Brenda Louise Boyte, 70, of Natchez who died November 8, 2017 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS, will be 11 a.m. Saturday November, 11, 2017 at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Smith officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday until service time at Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Boyte was born August 20, 1947 in Brookhaven, MS the daughter of Ruie Lamar Boyte and Dollie Saralina White Boyte. She was a Librarian at Armstrong Public Library; a Librarian at Washington Baptist Church had also worked as a Legal Secretary in Natchez for several years. Mrs. Boyte was a member of Washington Baptist Church, sung in the choir and was a church secretary. She loved her family and family gatherings and events.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Wendell Boyte, one sister, Doskie "Dot" Boyte Brister.
Survivors include one brother, Carlos Boyte and wife, Margaret of Hattiesburg; one sister-in-law, Helen Boyte; four nieces, Dawn Jones and husband, Wess, Donna Walker and husband, Steve, Jeanne Carlson and husband, Alan, and Wendy Burns and husband, Jody; three nephews, Joe Boyte and wife, Marie, Laron Boyte, and Lamar Boyte and wife, Mary Jane; a number of great as well as great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be, Joe Boyte, Lamar Boyte, Laron Boyte, Alan Carlson, Wess Jones, and Steve Walker.
