Funeral services for Mr. Boyd Duane Hudson will be on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at McBride Church in McBride, MS at 11 AM, with burial to follow in the McBride Cemetery. Rev. Randy Jones will be officiating the services, with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) on Friday, July 29, 2016, from 6 PM until 10 PM and again on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at McBride Church in McBride, MS from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM.

Mr. Hudson, 66, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at his residence in Brookhaven, MS. He was born on December 26, 1949, in Denver, CO to Boyd Henry and Twyla Hunsucker Hudson. He served for 10 years in the United States Army in Special OPS, as well as the U. S. Finance Department. While serving in the U. S. Army he received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Service Star, Bronze Star Medal, Overseas Service Bar, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Good Conduct Medal (3rd Award), Expert Badge with Mortar, Marksman Badge with Rifle Bar(M-14)and Marksman Badge with Rifle Bar(M-16). He also worked for 15 years at Mustang Well Service as an oil field drilling superintendent. Mr. Hudson was considered a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Terry Hudson.

Survivors are his wife, Cindy K. Mauch Hudson; daughters, Melissa Adams and Michelle Tyrone of Brookhaven, MS; sons, Tracy Hudson, Christopher Hudson, and Michael Gibbons, all of Aurora, CO and Julio Hudson of Panama; sister, Patty Hartman and husband Larry of Brookhaven, MS; brother, Vincent Hudson and wife Donna of Arvada, CO; sister-in-law, Debbie Hudson; many grandchildren and 1 great grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
