Bobby Burns Winborne's Obituary
Mrs. Winborne, 82, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, July 9, 2017, at Kings Daughter's Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS, with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 1, 1935, in Lincoln County, MS, to Roy Burns and Ida Mae Lofton Burns Williams. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto, MS; was a homemaker; and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother and friend.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Roy Burns and Ida Mae Lofton Burns Williams; husband, Claude Vernon Winborne; 5 sisters; and 3 brothers.
Survivors are her daughters, Betty Winborne Coon and husband Dallas of Brookhaven, MS, and Carolyn Winborne Dunn of Bogue Chitto, MS; grandchildren, Patricia Coon Jenkins and husband Anthony, Dallas Dewayne Coon and wife Amanda, Chancey Dunn and Nikki Dunn; 8 great-grandchildren; great great-grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Haven Hall Nursing Home.
