Graveside services for Mrs. Billie Jean Evans will be on Monday, February 11, 2019, at Rosehill Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS at 1:30 PM. Bro. Wayne Austin will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Evans, 81, of Baton Rouge, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at The Carpenter's House in Baton Rouge, with her loving family by her side.  She was born on October 23, 1937 in Baton Rouge, to William Cavin and Lillian Cifreo. She enjoyed singing and going to church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her son, Harrell Evans;

Survivors are her husband of 64 years, Denson Evans; her son, Glen Evans and wife Mary; her daughter, Larenda Bankston and husband Danny; her daughter-in-law, Lawanda Evans; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
