A visitation for Ms. Bettye "Sue" Berry will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in Brookhaven, Mississippi from 12:00 noon until 2:30 in the afternoon with burial to follow in the Easthaven Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Berry, 77, of Wesson, MS, passed from this life on November 30, 2023, at her home. She was born on July 5, 1946, in Brookhaven, MS, to Ernest and Lucille Blackwell Delaughter.

She was a devout Christian woman who loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved to listen to gospel music and enjoyed singing, especially with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Mike Delaughter and Charles Delaughter; one sister, Earnestine Conn; and three nieces, Anita Davis Clark, Tammy Davis Bradford, and Myrna Jordan.

Survivors include her children; David Berry (Phyllis) of Pearl and Myra Martin of Wesson; seven grandchildren, Tiffany Walker, Tristan Berry, Grace Sumrall, Alexis Berry, Thomas Blaylock, Timothy Martin, and Jacob Martin; and eleven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind two sisters, Faye Holmes (Charles) and Wanda Brewer along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
