Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jean Montgomery Lambert will be on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 10:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto, MS. Bro. David Peavey will be officiating the services, with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Friday, September 30, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Lambert, 83, passed from this life on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Brook Manor Nursing Home in Brookhaven, MS. She was born on October 28, 1932 in Ellwood City, PA, to Thomas James and Celia H. Shelton Montgomery. She enjoyed playing the piano, cooking and she loved her cocker spaniels. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband of 26 years, Wayne Edward Lambert; sisters, Bertha Montgomery and Thelma Montgomery Thomas ; and brothers, Donnie Montgomery, Tommy Montgomery and Robert David Montgomery.

Survivors are her daughters, Kathryn Elaine Jackson and husband Bob and Sarah Lee Laird and her husband George; sons, Daniel Wayne Lambert and wife Sandra and Jamey Edward Lambert and wife Tera; grandchildren, Randy Jackson and wife Brandi, Megan Legendre and husband Jeremy, Kristin Lambert, Wayne Lambert, Brad Lambert and Dakota Laird; great grandchildren, Baileigh Jackson, Taylor Jackson and Westyn Legendre; sisters-in-law Dinah Fay Hall and Patsy Martel.
