Visitation services for Mrs. Betty L. Johnson will be held Sunday, September 11 ^th from 5:00-8:00 at Brookhaven Funeral Home.  Viewing will be at Harmony Baptist Church on Monday, September 12 ^t at 10:00 a.m., with funeral services following at 11:00.  Mrs. Johnson will be laid to rest at Harmony Baptist Cemetery.

Mrs. Betty (Aunt Bet) Johnson went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to be reunited with her husband, grandson and many loved ones.  She passed away peacefully with her family by her side.

She was a faithful member of Harmony Baptist Church for over 70 years.  Mrs. Betty worked in downtown Brookhaven for over 50 years.

She was a loyal servant to her savior, a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,and great great- grandmother. She was also loved deeply by her community and church family at Harmony Baptist where she was known adoringly as "Aunt Bet".

Preceding her in death were her parents Walter and Effie Pennington; her husband Lee Johnson; grandson Cassidy Parsons, and sisters Lyda Allen and Martha Rushing.

Survivors are her children Susie Martin Case (Roger), Debbie Bowers (David) and Michelle Black (Thomas); grandchildren Deonna Case, Neal Case (Chasity), Leanne Case, and Shan Case (Rikkie); great-grandchildren Jessica Odom (Taylor), Haden Case (Elvia), Jake Case (Natalie), Ada Grace Case, Julian Case, Asher Norwood, Emma and Ella Temple, Peyton Case, Caroline and Josh Black; great-great-grandchildren Aynslee Kate, Blake and Crew Odom, Kash and Lyda Ann Case and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Neal Case, Julian Case, Ben Johnson, Shane Smith, Shan Case and Jake Case.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Betty's many caregivers at Diversicare Nursing Home and Compassus Hospice.
