Funeral services for Betty Lavone Ashley of Wesson, MS will be on Monday, July 19, 2021, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson, MS. Bro. Stuart Givens will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Monday, July 19, 2021, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Ms. Ashley, 58, went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2021. She was born on February 28, 1963 to Edward L. Ashley, Sr. and Mildred Lavene Ashley. Ms. Betty was a nurse for Copiah Medical Associates and Copiah County Sheriff's Office. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents Edward L. Ashley Sr. and Mildred Lavene Ashley; step-mother Elsie Ashley; brother Bobby Lance Ashley; granddaughter Casey Morgan; and great nephew Gibson Britt.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Edward L. Ashley (wife Sharon) and Billy Dungan (wife Kathy); sister Charlotte Newell (husband Wayne); daughter Victoria Driscoll; son Justin Morgan (wife Savannah). She is also survived by her grandchild Hunter Morgan and 7 nieces and nephews, Stephanie Twiner, Tracy Shufelt, Mitzi Britt, Coby Ashley, Justen Ashley, Zach Ashley and Christopher Dungan; and a host of family and friends that she loved dearly.
