Bernice Fore Lovell, 97, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Diverscare of Ripley, MS. She was born on July 1, 1919 to Thomas Francois and Maudie Lee Hamilton Fore in Foxworth, MS. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Pearlhaven Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS, but after moving to Ripley she faithfully attended First Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.


Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS with Rev. Ronny Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Brookhaven. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM till service time at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lovell is survived by one daughter, Sylvia Braddock (Charles) of Ripley; three grandchildren, Chuck Braddock (April) of Loveland, Ohio, Becky Benson (Skip) of Ripley, and Debbie Roberts (Mickey) of Winona; nine great-grandchildren, Ashton, Addison, Avery and Parker Braddock, Beth, Cindy (fiancé Jacob Ralph) and Trip Benson, Reed and Bella Roberts; one great-great-granddaughter, Adalyn Forysthe.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Jere Parker Lovell; her parents; one brother, Darrell Fore; two sisters, Frances Albritton and Thelma Fore.
