Funeral services for Mr. Benji Peavy will be on Friday, February 8, 2019, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in (894 Natchez Drive) Brookhaven, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Lawrence County, MS. Bro. Scott Johnson will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Thursday, February 7, 2019, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

Mr. Peavy, 50, of Monticello, MS, passed from this life on February 5, 2019, at his residence in his "Happy Place". He was born on April 25, 1968 in Brookhaven, MS, to Conley Peavy and Peggy Pennington Peavy. He enjoyed playing with his grandbabies, fishing and hunting, mechanic work, farming (especially his chickens and cows), spending time outdoors, helping people in need, playing guitars, watching westerns and spending time with his wife and children. Mr. Benji was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving husband, father, Pawpaw and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Conley and Peggy Peavy.

Survivors are his wife of 29 years, Beverly Lambert Peavy; sons, Joe Peavy and wife Audrey (Miss Audrey), Tanner Peavy and wife Brittany (Stalker), Jesse Peavy and Josie Hall (Shortcake); grandbabies, Benjimin, Joselyn, Cohan, Zara, and James Peavy; and a host of nieces and nephews, family members and friends.
