Funeral services for Beatrice Smith Lambert will be on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Antioch Baptist Church in Monticello, MS at 4:00 PM with burial to follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held at Antioch Baptist Church on Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

Beatrice Lambert, 89, of Jayess, MS passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, August 22, 2025. She was born in Brookhaven, MS on August 27, 1935 to Jaudon and Kathryn Smith.

Mrs. Lambert was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She devoted her life taking care of her home and family. She loved her horses and dogs. She doted on her grandchildren, especially her great-great granddaughter Sophia.

She was preceded in death by parents, Jaudon and Kathryn Smith; her husbands, Jimmy Earl Foster and Hoyte Lambert; her two children, Sharon Lambert and Bradley Lambert; and her brothers Billy Joe Smith, Jimmy Everett Smith, and Hillary Dean Smith.

Survivors are her granddaughters Brandy (Kody) Burns and Melaynna Lambert; and her great grandchildren and great-great granddaughter; her sisters Mary Alice "Sister" Williams and Agnes Allgood; her sister-in-law Joy Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
