Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Laird will be on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Pastor Brooks Porter will be officiating the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, March 24, 2018, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Mrs. Laird, 72, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born on August 18, 1945, in Lincoln County, MS, to Colon and Agnes Watts Smith. She enjoyed taking care of others, cooking, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Alfred Laird.

Survivors are her sons, Timothy Laird and Alfred Laird; her daughter, Tina Pennington; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; her brother, Keith Smith; her sister, Peggy Porter; and a host of family and friends.
