Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Britt Way will be on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Solid Rock Pentecostal Church in Brookhaven, MS with burial to follow in the Freedom Church Cemetery in Wesson, MS.  Rev. Talor Strain will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Solid Rock Pentecostal Church on Tuesday night 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM and will resume at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM.

Barbara Way, 82, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at her residence. She was born on January 5, 1942 in Lincoln County, MS to Maxie Britt and Doris Adams Britt. She was an active member of Solid Rock Pentecostal Church. She was a retired nurse from Brook Manor Nursing Home. She enjoyed reading, sewing, traveling, shopping and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maxie and Doris Britt.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Neal Franklin Way; daughter Keasha Dickerson (Randy); son Anthony Way (Crystal); 5 grandchildren, Anna Brooke Coon (Devin), Taylor Dickerson, Emily Way, Kaleigh Way and Britton Way; sisters Jean Martinez (Allen) and Jackie French (Bill); brothers Douglas Britt (Peggy) and Billy Britt (Becky); and a host of nieces and nephews.
