Funeral services for Aylene Watts Burt will be on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 11 AM, with burial to follow in the Easthaven Cemetery, also in Brookhaven, MS. Michael Burt will be officiating the services, with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on the same day from 9:30 AM until time of the service at 11 AM.

Mrs. Burt, 91, passed from this life on Friday, June24, 2016, in McDonough, GA, with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 15, 1925, in Brookhaven, MS, to Carey and Nancy Smith Watts. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Hollis Ira Burt; sisters, Carolyn Lee and Helen Watts; and brother, Carey Lee Watts.
Survivors are her son, Michael Wayne Burt and wife Jennifer King Burt of McDonough, GA; sister, Mikki Allmand of New Orleans, LA; 2 grandchildren, Amy Magee and husband Dr. Jamie Magee of McDonough, GA and Holly Horwege and husband Josh Horwege of Cumming, GA; 5 great grandchildren, Dawson and Addison Magee and Layla, Hollis, and Ryder Horwege; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends.
