Mrs. Coley, 98, of Union Church, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at home with her loving family by her side.  She was born on March 29, 1924, in Union Church, MS, to Truly D. and Gertrude Smith.  She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.  She enjoyed music and being with her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents;  her husband , Homer Lee Coley; her brother, Truly Earl Smith; sisters, Lorraine West, Doris Smith, and Thelma Smith; and grandsons, Crandall Coley and Dusty Coley.

Survivors are her children, Cecil Coley (Kay), Prentiss Coley (Lanell), Roy Coley (Debbie), Lanette Nix (Jerry), and Harlon Coley (Regina); brother, Randall Dean Smith(Glenda); 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 24 great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Coby Coley, Caleb Coley, Lonnie Coley, Dorlan Coley, Brody Coley, Shane Coley, Chase Coley, Lance Coley, Matthew Coley, Jason Nix, Steven Nix, and Landon Nix
