Funeral services for Mrs. Almarie S. Britt will be on Monday, March 25, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Red Star Ward in Wesson, MS at 12:30 PM with burial to follow in the Red Star Cemetery. Bishop Sammy Kimble will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at the Red Star Ward Church on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM.

Almarie S. Britt, 92, of Wesson, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Halo Havens Assisted Living Center in Brookhaven, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on April 2, 1931 to Elisha Hillman Stevens and Susie Mae Patrick Stevens.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hiram Britt; her twin brother Bo Stevens; brother Dewey Stevens; sisters Idell Dunaway, Marceil Sterling and Dorothy Fortenberry.

She is survived by her only child, Anna Marie Kimble and husband Sammy; grandchildren Kelsey Marie Rogers, Jackson Kimble and Brett Rogers and wife Jessi; great grandchildren Poppy Jane Rogers and Graham Alan Rogers; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and many great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

The family would like to give special mention to the wonderful, caring and loving staff at Halo Havens Assisted Living Center, where she has lived for the past 15 months, Jaci, Neil, Monica, Tonnicka, Keely, Michelle, Connie, Loretta, Stephanie, and Kristen. Thanks also to Enhabit Hospice and Nick, and Gentiva Hospice and her special nurse Matt Lambert.
