Funeral services for Mrs. Alice C. Nettles will be Friday, August 17, 2018, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at 3:00 PM in Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge, LA. Bro. Willie Welch will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Friday, August 17 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Mrs. Nettles, 91 of Walker, LA, formerly of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life Friday, August 10, 2018, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born April 10, 1927 in Lincoln County, MS, to Martin Case and Bessie Case Case. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. Mrs. Nettles was a retired Louisiana State Employee with the Department of Labor and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Howard Nettles; son, Howard C. Nettles; brothers, Carlos Case, Ellis Case and Markette Case.

Survivors are her daughters, Cindy O'Neal and Lynda Brigalia, both of Walker. LA; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sisters, Margie Case Britt (Tom) and Minnie Case Miller; and a host of family and friends.
